Night of Bowling

Okay, so it's been years since I have bowled. I used to bowl all the time when I was younger. I have wanted to go for years. Since Duane and I have been together, we have yet to bowl together. One of the reasons that stopped me was I have always had long nails. Like 10 years, and that's not really the best thing to do when you have nice long nails. Recently, I decided to give my nails a break and so Duane and I were coming home and I seen a sign on the bowling alley that said "Thirsty Thurday" $1 game $1 Long Island's I said did you see that? OMG I want a long island LOL So we decided to take the kids for a night out. I called to make sure there were no hidden fees that would make it unaffordable for us to go. All was good. Everything was $1, shoes, soda, hot dogs, etc. So I said something to the kid and they were excited. I invited Chris's friend Jamie, well he's Jason's friend too and he has become a big part of our family. So we head our for a fun night. We get there, it's packed!! Yikes, give me a long island LOL We get our lane, get our shoes on and begin to bowl. We didn't bowl very well at first. Took us some time to get used to it. Duane hasn't bowled in years either, and with his right hand messed up, he had to try to bowl with his left. I was so proud of him, he didn't do very well but he had fun and made the best of his situation. God I just love that man LOL The boys had fun. Bowling is not one of Chris's favorite things to do but he made the best of it as well. Chris doesn't see that bowling could be a sport LOL Jamie and Jason did there competing with one another which made it fun. Jamie would get up there and bowl a strike, BAM! Jason would get a strike. Jamie bowls 2 gutter balls, YEP, Jason would get 2 gutters LOL It was funny but they enjoyed it. At one point, we were thinking maybe we should ask them to put up the bumpers for us. We just couldn't seem to get out of the gutters. This particular night, there was a random blue pin. If you through the first ball and hit all but the blue pin, you won a free game. Jamie was the first one to hit for a free game. WAY TO GO Jamie!! Then I hit one!! GO MOM!! It was alot of fun and look forward to going back. Thurs and Friday nights they have the $1 bowling. So, as soon as my knee stops hurting from last weeks bowl, we will head on back. LOL Was a great night of fun and as always I love spending that time with my kids. There smiles mean the world to me, and that night I seen several!! LOVE YOU BOYS, Thanks for a great night of fun!!!
