Smile4me-4ever...

Well, our vacation is over. Back to work yesterday and today is my day off. I added my vacation pics to my photo gallery and my trip to my pages. Sure don't get to spend as much time here as I wish I could.

I had a great time away on my vacation. My whole family had alot of fun. I really believe it will be a trip we all remember for years to come. We formed some great memories and shared a ton of laughter this weekend. We try to go away as a family at least once a year and when we do, it's always a good time. This time was a bit different. We all were very stressed out before we left. I won't go into big details but all of our stress levels were really high the 2 weeks before we left. We weren't sure how this trip was going to play out. Chris is in a punishment where he has lost all his priveledges, we weren't sure if we were even going to let him go with us. It may sound cruel but your not in our shoes, so please don't judge without knowing the circumstances. We all suffered big hurt because he made some bad choices. This is his 'last chance' to start making better choices. Jason felt that he should be able to go, no punishment, just able to go and enjoy himself, life as usual and then when we get back he can go back to being punished. I wasn't sure how easy that was going to be for all of us, including Chris. Jas said it would be kind of like a 'fantasy vacation' to see what he could be missing if he doesn't start making better choices. So, we all agreed. I really wasn't sure how we all could pull this off, but we decided to just let by gones be by gones. We all did wonderful. Chris included. I was so proud of all of us. We got into the car and put smiles on our faces and enjoyed each and every moment we had together. Just goes to show, what love can conquer. That's what he needed to see and what he needed to appreciate. I think he did and we all got to spend time with the Chris we all adore. So it was all good.

We spent the whole weekend being together. All making sure our laughter never stopped and the fun continued. We laughed alot, sometimes til you hurt LOL The weather was great, the setting was perfectly  relaxing and the company was the best!! Each time we get together to venture out, rather it be a night together playing Wii or just a evening together for dinner, it's always so much fun! I did miss my Dad alot this weekend. There was so much he would of enjoyed. Just all being together mostly but he was there with us, I know he was, he was smiling so big!! We talked about him quite a bit, all of us because we all knew how much this trip would of meant to him. Any time we spent together was a highlight for my Dad. If I had to describe this trip in one word, it woud be PERFECT!!!

There were a few times Duane would of gotten stressed and he didn't he kept his cool and thought positive. I was so proud of him I could of wrote it in the sky! We are all going through some changes here in our household and he really truly is stepping up to the plate. I couldn't be more proud of him as I am. No doubt why I love him so much! Everything happens for a reason and I believe this time, the reason was to make us all better people in the end.
